Whatever your issues are, whether safety, privacy or solar control, there is a window film which will provide you with a cost effective solution to your problem.

No need to replace the glass. Window film is retro fitted to your existing doors and windows, and can be used to upgrade normal glass to safety standards.

Conservatories are a great addition to any home, but in the summer, they can become unusable due to the excessive light and heat generated by the sun.
In the past, people have opted for blinds, which are costly, easily damaged and require maintenance and cleaning.

A better solution is solar control film. This can be applied straight onto the glass and doesn't alter the look of the structure. All it does is tint the glass to prevent most of the sun's harsh heat and glare from coming through.

We have films suitable for internal and external use as well as for glass or plastic roofs.
Installing window film on a glass roof can be a arduous and potentially dangerous work best left to the professionals.

Take advantage of our professional installation service. We'll be happy to advise you on the best suitable product, and quote for a professional installation service.

WINDOW FILM INFORMATION

If you’ve never heard or used window film before, you’ll be amazed at the range of applications that the material can offer, and also how easy it is to install as a DIY project.

Window films are made of vinyl or polyester, and come with a water-activated adhesive already on the film, which makes them easy to apply. The adhesive side of the film is protected with either a paper release liner, or a clear polyester film. Film can be cut easily using a pair of scissors or a Stanley knife.

The films are very easy to install, which makes them ideal for DIY projects. Anyone with a very basic DIY knowledge will be able to install the film. All you’ll need as a spray bottle with some soapy water and a squeegee.

Window films are designed for many uses. To absorb sunlight or reflect it, to give your window a frosted finish for privacy, to keep the glass from shattering, or to replace those tired net curtains.

The main categories are:

  • Privacy films, including frosted and mirror effects films.
  • Solar control films, including reflective and tinted films.
  • Heat control films to keep the heat down in the summer.
  • UV control films to prevent furnishings from fading.
  • Safety and “Bomb Blast” films to keep glass from shattering.
  • Decorative and coloured films to decorate windows.

One of the many advantages of window film is that it can be retro fitted to any flat glass window or door, therefore avoiding costly replacement glass. It can also be easily removed, making it ideal for commercial or residential properties.
